I checked out the site with IE5.50 and Communicator 4.61 and I see the menu
on the side which is completely unreadable.  This has nothing to do with
the image format as such, it's just a case of the font size being *way* too
small for a decorative font, not to mention that it has a marbled effect
applied which is black on a black background so it's never going to look
nice and clean.

It's a very pretty color, but I'm not sure that I would want to read
screeds of it given that it's so small and you might want to correct the
spelling of "puporse" ...um....purpose ? porpoise? :)

Now, I know that this is just a hobby site and something for you to play
with, but the "under construction" comment is a no-no for any site given
that all web sites *should* be constantly evolving and changing and
therefore, always "under construction".

As far as the use of the .png format is concerned, if you're just playing
around and you don't care who can or cannot view your site, then fine, but
if you want your site to be accessible to everyone, then you would be much
better off sticking with  .gifs or .jpgs.

Just my 02 cents worth...HTH
