Here are a few thoughts in point form...

eye1bar.gif is a good quality clean image on 
http://www.visualpossibilities.com/html/pageillustration.html but the same 
image appears to be part of your flash home page and the quality there is 
poor as if you had resized the image in flash rather than importing it at 
the dimensions required. the other three eye parts have the same issue.

Visualheadline.gif is actually 457x118. With code you have crunched it to 
366x91, the image quality suffers and file size is larger than required.

I would also redo the eye image to get the four parts lined up better. The 
end result could be what appears to be one eye where the look and color 
changes from quadrant to quadrant.
