feedback please

This url contains a concept I'm considering for my home page.

It's incomplete and before I go much farther I'm looking for feedback on 
the functionality of the flash.  javascript checks your flash plugin and 
writes page content accordingly without a redirect. When completed people 
without the required plugin version will get the html page. For the moment 
you must have the flash 6 player to see anything and I don't plan to worry 
about any 4.x browsers.

Everything is done with actionscript and I've tried to stream the content. 
I'd like to know if the fades and motions are smooth and if all the image 
changes are synchronized. The page scales to fill your window so it may 
behave differently if you resize your browser.
