I like how the cigar graphic logo matches color with the banner text color.
I think the color matching works well together.

I was wondering why you decided to use a repeating text based background. I
personally find this very distracting to the rest of the site design in the
sense that I ended up being so overwhelmed by the background text that I
found it difficult to read the much smaller text in the main content area.

My suggestions are:

1) Change background to a solid color with high-contrast to the main text
color

2) Change color scheme to not use so many varying shades of brown, red, and
grey but to instead rely on a smaller selection of variance....perhaps using
some close shades of brown with dark color text and a light background.

3) Leave larger margins of empty area around the text thereby making it more
readable

I'd be really interested to see how this all turns out.
