Fireworks 2 Illustration expert :)

Hi all,

I have this involved logo shape I am trying to reproduce in Fireworks 2,
Windows platform.  The logo involves making ellipses go under, above, and
merge with other ellipses, and it's driving me nuts trying to figure out how
to do this.

for the PNG file.  I really need some help here, I would appreciate
assistance.  There is also another try at different path structure titled
"preliminary outline paths" in the PNG, and this almost works, but the fill
and outlines leave some weird white space around some of the lines.
