Try downloading Photoshop Plugin Manager:
http://johann.simplenet.com/software/ppmanager.html
You can use it to organize your filter menus or enable/disable
any of the filters you don't normally use to elimate clutter.
It's a great little utility.

[Side Note]
Incidentally, the true purist knows that the 21st century
offically starts on 2001, not 2000 (Hence the movie title 2001:
A Space Odyssey). If you want to get really theological and base
it on King Harod's death, a discrepency in the bible since he was
*alive* at Jesus' birth, the 21st century is already here.
But it's all in perception, time is relative. Any bets on how many
people will still celebrate 2000 as the new millenium?
