If you are a PC user with Win95/8 or NT then go to
http://www.winfiles.com/apps/98/font.html
and take your pick from the freeware/shareware
font tools there. I reccomend Font-O-Matic,
Printers Apprentice, and FontPage, they work for me.
Some of the tools on this page will add a font preview
to your programs like you want. I prefer to have a sample
sheet on paper to look at.
