How to make wallpapers?

Hello, all!

I'm in the process of trying to get back into my work after last week's
events, and I am finding it very difficult, since my husband is in
the National Guard Reserve and it is just a matter of time untill his unit
is activated. Needless to say, I have fallen really behind on many projects,
with little hope of getting caught up for a while... my heart is just not in
it.

Anyway, I am working on a pretty complex site that will offer screensavers,
mp3s and wallpapers for downloading. For now, the screen saver has been put
on hold, but I need to make several wallpapers... and I don't know how to go
about it. They should be available for Mac and PC. Is there special
programming involved in making a wallpaper, or is it just a matter of
setting up instructions with the graphic, like "right click and save", or
something like that? Unfortunatelly, I cannot send you guys a link to the
site because it has not been officially published yet.

Any ideas that will point me in the right direction will be greatly
appreciated. Since the site is mainly in Flash 4, I've posted this message
in the FlashSizzlers list this afternoon, but as of yet I have not received
any answers. I have no problems with setting up the links for the
downloads... I just need to know if there is something mysterious and
complicated I should take into account when making wallpapers.
