Photoshop will open a pdf as a graphic. If your pdf is multiple pages
you'll be asked which page you want to open, so you can open then
individually and crop or stitch as necessary.

Subject: Converting pdf to jpg or gif
Hi:
I have a client that has their restaurants menu saved as a pdf. He
doesn't want the visitors to his web site to have to download
Acrobat reader or download the pdf. He wants me to convert the
menus pdf file into a jpg or gif image and have the image contents
displayed on the menu web page.
Is there anything you know of that will convert a pdf into an image
file that I can display on the web? Is that conversion even possible?
BTW, tried contacting the marketing firm that created the pdf. They
said it is alright to use the pdf as an image, but they didn't know
how to provide that for us (or the wouldn't provide it!) Any Clues?
Thanks!
Jim H
