"It seems the effect only happens when you come from another page to this
one. If you just click on the link the effect won't fade in because there
isn't another page to fade in from. I have Windows 98/IE6 with new version
of Windows Media Player."

I tried adding the meta tag that you guys mentioned to one of my web pages
yesterday and couldn't get it to work. After reading this, though, I
clicked on the link from another site to get to mine and it worked! Wow!
It's really neat! Thanks!
