Hello all!

Thank you for the many direct and on list responses to my art book question.
I ordered already today at amazon.de this 2 books which seem to be what I
was looking for as a first step.
Of course there is a second and a third step and so on, so please continue
to share your
book tips with me. These will not be the only books I need.

ART FUNDAMENTALS - Theory and Practice
by Ocvirk, Stinson, Wigg, Bone, Cayton

Drawing on the Right Side of the Brain:
A Course in Enhancing Creativity and Artistic Confidence
by Betty Edwards


I don�t master the local language good enough to go to art courses or art
study or got to a local library here. I have to rely on books.
Also since I am in an ex-communist country (Slovakia) visiting parks and
buildings for inspiration is not an option, socialist art leaves much to be
desired and is better not copied if you know what I mean  :-)
