I have been having some problem with transparent gifs. When used on a page,
they have had a white shadow around them as on the following page:
http://www.geocities.com/Athens/Aegean/9920
I have expanded the selection areas to the point where if I increase the
selected area much more images become distorted.
I have turned off the antialias feature.
The only option I can figure at this point is taking the images into an
imaging program, doing a flood fill with a dark color, and going pixel by
pixel to remove the white areas. I have done this to a certain extent, but
when I again place the images on a background I still have the white shadow.
I use both Photoshop and Paint Shop Pro.
Help...it's happening on several images I'm using recently.
