Speaking of gradient, I've recently been playing with them in Paintshop Pro
4 also, and I've made some fun gradient banners with buttonized edges I've
used for title banners. To keep with color schemes, I have made a rectangle
from a background tile, and then "stretched" it to a larger size to banner
size, then added buttonizing and text. This way the title banner matches my
backgrounds.
My question is: I have only been able to make gradients from one color to
another because there are only two colors in the foreground and backgrounds
on the palette. How do some people make a larger gradient using many colors
like a rainbow? Do they make bunches of two color gradients and then put
them together somehow?
Also, I have noticed that when working with jpgs, I can't figure out how to
get the exact color on the palate to match, and I have to try to match it by
hand, but with a gif file, the color palette of matching colors pops right
up. Is there any way to do this with jpgs?
Thanks,
Lonna
