Hey, guys! I have a site (only one page, right now) for
ya' to check out:
www.macisrael.com
The client is the Messianic Action Committee.
Keep in mind that work for my clients is not
necessarily my vision. If they want to override
my advice, then so be it. This page is a little
hefty (about 21 s. @ 28.8 kbps), but the rest
of the site will speed through after the initial
load.
The "scroll" menu on the left was handdrawn
with a mouse in PhotoPaint 8, so... I'm kinda
proud of it.
The page was developed in Dreamweaver 2.0
with some minor handcoding.
Some stupid (IMO) elements, like the animated
flag, and the overall slight busyness, are there
at the clients request. I would like to trim this
thing down. Maybe some feedback would help
convince them.
The clients wants both a modern and a "parchment"
look. Have I done that?

This is very true. At my design site, www.ewdg.com, I'm
putting in an "optimizing" and "downloads" section. This is
referred to throughout the site where needed. These pages
giving step by step instructions for increasing/changing color
depth and resolution on a number of platforms. By default.
web fonts on Macs display smaller than they do on PCs.
I'm also giving instructions on changing default font sizes
for various platforms and browsers. The "downloads" page
will link to all necessary plug-ins and up-to-date browsers.
Thanks in advance for any feedback on that site!
