Hi all. Recently had a problem that I wanted to mention. I installed a =
"Pablo" art tablet on my system. I had to take it back due to a =
defective pen port. I uninstalled the driver. When I did this, my =
modem quit working. After 2 days of pulling my hair out and spending =
about 2 hours total on the phone with Gateway, we finally got it =
straightened out. I wound up disabling both com ports in the bios and =
completely uninstalling both com ports and modem. After letting the =
"new hardware" be found and reinstalling the modem driver, the modem =
came back to life. Has anyone had this problem before when uninstalling =
this tablet (or any other for that matter) ?
