It is pretty hard to make small printed text readable after scanning. About
the best you can do is scan at a high resolution (at least 300 dpi) then, if
you want to put it on the web, reduce the resolution in Photoshop down to
150 or 72. Ideally, you would want to retype the text and just use the
photos then make it a PDF.
