Well, because your image is a graphic and your title is text...
each viewer to your site will see the alignment differently, based on how large or small
their text is set. I was able to make my text much larger and smaller and by playing with
it a little,
I could get the image and text to line up in the center as you wanted.

Maybe you should include the text as part of the image. This
is the only way to get complete control over the placement of the
image/text.

I am curious why the image is actually 319 x 307 pixels and you have
the img src height and width set to 50 x 50. What is the advantage of this?
