Hallo Dusty,
<td width="20%" align="center" valign="middle">
align-="center" and valign=""middle" together will end up in something
displayed in the center of the top, but not in the center as you want. About
this have been discussions on the w3c-style-list. So remove it from your code,
as it is impossible to show.
In Mozilla 1.0 your poemtitle is showed partly twice and in WebTV
tintagel_bar.gif" is going through the text of the poem as your page is ways too
wide. WebTV is only 540px width and does not have a scrollbar from left to
right. So 600 px width is always the maximum pagewidth when you don't want run
into problems. Internet and TV will always more be combined and internet can
also be showed in a TV screen, offered by a cablecompany as is very usual in the
Netherlands.
Here you can download the free WebTV Viewer
http://developer.msntv.com/Tools/WebTVVwr.asp
When I can give you an advice... try to learn as soon as possible XHTML 1.0
strict, XHTML 1.1 or XHTML basic combined with CSS.
i mode-sites or future internet sites in mobile phones etc. can only interpret
XHTML basic
The mobile phone in which I could see my site even could not show any table and
nested tables can never be showed or interpreted by i-mode. I use only
datatables and have for them an alternate page with a list.
See the XHTML basic specification in http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml-basic/
Greetings
Ineke van der Maat
