Thumbnail creator

Hello,

Any ideas on thumbnail creators?

We need one which would convert all images to the same size. The images can have
different sizes (500 x 300 px;  400 x 400px;  450 x 500px and so on). It would
be nice if the thumbnails shouldn't be stretched -- the extra space should be of
a color that we can choose (preferrably be able to preconfigure it).

That's the idea -- several clients will be using that so it should be easy to
use.
