Rounded Corner Gifs

I need some pointers in making small rounded corner gifs in conjunction with
interesting backgrounds like I've seen on many sites. Have looked at code
and gotten cross-eyed in trying to figure out how to seamlessly design and
set it up. Have Photoshop 5.5.

An example would be http://www.7am.com . It also has round-cornered
arrangement on the right side of the site as well as the top design.

Any suggestions?
