This procedure changed (or is a little bug) that has been discussed since
the release of PSP5 over a year ago.

Double clicking on the color will NOT edit it as you said.  HOWEVER, if you
use the menu choice edit pallette (think it is under colors) you then can
change the colors as you wish!

Sorry, I can't give you the exact menu item commands, PSP is temporarily not
installed (as are lots of things on my puter.  Had major problems, so
decided it was a great time for spring cleaning my hard drive - reformatted
and installing only the programs I use.)

Picking up my broom, to continue my chores....
