edges

Hi everyone,
 
I have this logo that I have made into 3d.  My problem is that some parts of
the edges are too jagged.  What is the easiest and fastest way in choosing
that jagged edge and making it look smoother?
 
I have both Paint Shop and Fireworks as of this moment and I will have
access to Photoshop if I need to.
