I seem to have a talent for being able to take a program and figuring out
most of it without a help manual. I can also almost always pull apart a
webpage that I like and apply the effect that I wanted from it to my own
personal use, this is especially true for JavaScripts.

These comments show my point exactly.. :) Some people out there may call
themselves web designers but they have no talent for layout and design. A
professional site should be functional and project the right picture for the
client's business. Not everyone has the talent or knowledge to do this for
the client.
