Why not cut the whole picture and paste
it into a new larger picture with thw background
you desire (white?), and then when it is positioned
and still selected, add the drop shadow.

Can anyone tell me how to add a drop shadow to an entire picture in PSP 5?
You have to select an area of the image in order to be able to select Edit
from the Image menu, but if you select the entire image, well... there's no
canvas left for the shadow!
