Hi.

You should check out the Ulead Photo Explorer, (www.ulead.com).

I'm not sure whether it's a stand-alone application or whether it only comes
bundled with something else. Ulead always confuse me with the way they
bundle their software.

However, what it does is present a series of user-sizable thumbnails of all
the images within a particular folder. This is useful enough in itself for
people doing web design and the like.

However, it also allows for these images be output in HTML as a series of
thumbnails or a slide show. Both options are fully configurable, in terms of
background colour, arrangement of images, size of image, type of image,
associated text description, etc.

The code it produces isn't the best in the world but I'm sure you'd be able
to deal with that.
