Certainly. Like I say - you can do nearly everything Photoshop will do with
PSP, it just takes a bit longer <g>.

Create a *big* image (about 3 times the size you want to end up with).

Fill this with desired background colour.

Select the colour of the highlight on your ball as foreground colour (e.g.
white).

Select background colour of a tint slightly darker than that you want to use
for the edge of the ball (e.g. black).

Click on the Selection tool, and change the selection type to Circle (using
the style bar).

Draw a selection circle approx three times bigger than you want the button
to be.

Click on the Flood Fill tool and change the Fill Style to "Sunburst
Gradient".

Click the Options button on the style bar and set both values at 33%.

Click inside the selection circle to fill with the gradient.

Add a drop shadow if required.

Do am Image | Resample and alter the size of the image to be a third what it
is now.

Voila!

Enclosed is an example of this (I added the perspective shadow using Eye
Candy, but you could just as well have drawn a grey oval and done a "Blur
More" before you started).
