I *totally* agree. I dislike web designers who stick everything in a 615
width table. When I view it on my screen at 1024/768 you can't see nearly as
much as you should be able to. After all - God invented high resolutions to
fit more on screen...

BTW, I have found a really neat solution to this in Shockwave: If you size
your Flash animations to width=100% and height=90%  then the browser will
dynamically resize for different resolutions, so on a 1280x1024 display the
clarity (esp of the anti-aliasing) will make your jaw drop. And people
running in postage stamp res. can still read it properly.

For a niceish (word? do you care?) "Shocked" site, check out the one I'm
currently building at www.alastair.force9.co.uk/lightning/ (click on the
"Shocked version" text). It's quite a big download (about 200Kb, although it
does load in the music separately). But it's probably definitely worth it
<g>. Don't forget to crank up the bass...

Oh - and no flames telling me bits don't work - I haven't finished building
it yet :)

In case anyone was wondering, I was inspired by the Gabocorp site to learn
Flash (on NewTech list a while back) - thanks that person! Other graphics
people out there - take a long hard look at Flash - it's well groovy (man).
