Hi Robert,
If you create a new image (using "new"), you have to choose the option "16,7
million colors". By doing this, the anti-aliasing comes out good. Later on,
you can decrease the number of colors to 256 if you want to save it as
*.gif. The program will include the in-between colors used for the
anti-aliasing. The font used doesn't really matter.
