I discovered recently to get around using ugly HRs, you could create a tiny
graphic dot, then specify WIDTH="100%" HEIGHT="XX" and it would stretch to
the width of the browser window.

Viewing the files locally off the HD, I could see the line in IE4, but not
in NN.  NN4.05 and 3.04 just gave me a missing graphic placeholder of the
height specified in the IMG tag; I just assumed NN didn't support it.

Uploading the files to http://www.mediapartnership.co.uk/y2kbug.html seemed
to make a difference.  Downloading the page in IE4 and NN4, now they *both*
drew the line.

Looking locally again, I double-checked that all the filenames were right,
they were in the right directories (HD mirrors website), and cleared all the
caches.... but viewing the file locally, *again* IE4 drew the line and NN3
and 4 gave me an emtpy graphic.

If you remove the % symbol, save the HTML file, and reload NN4 shows the
image.  Put the % back in, and you get the placeholder back.  Does anyone
know the reason for this?  Have I just stumbled on a known glitch?
