Ted, The shadow on the outside of the pic is done in a graphics editor, such as Paint Shop Pro. You can specify the vertical and horizontal shadow, along with the size you would like it to be. This is done by selecting the photo and choosing image/effects/drop shadow. -- Cindy K.
