I need some serious help.  I'm working with someone where my department has 
loaded their site to our server.  The problem:  many images won't show up in

Netscape Navigator although they show up in Internet Explorer.  They didn't 
work on either until we changed them from .gif to .jpeg.  This is not true 
of all images in the whole site, just the one immediately below.   

Another odd thing is that in IE, when I click on a bookmark to view the 
image at the bottom of the page, it opens a new page with the image instead.

http://www.osp.cornell.edu/vpr/ward/pgaa.html#top   It's intended to be a 
bookmark, not a link.   

In other pages, the bookmarks act like bookmarks, not links to other pages. 
http://www.osp.cornell.edu/vpr/ward/wcns.html is the home page.  Various 
images work, or don't as you go along through all the pages.   

Also, forms under General Information, Experiment Proposal and Guide Page
work in IE, but not NN.

Main prob:  Multiple people worked on this.  One definitely used HTML Editor

for MacIntosh, at least one other used something else & no one knows what, 
and we saw Clarris Homepage too.   They gave us a Mac disk which my 
colleague loaded to our NT server from her machine.  This is when we noticed

some .jpegs work on both IE & NN, as did some .gifs, but not others. 

I know this is a bit convoluted, but this is as best as I can explain it at 
the moment.
