 have you got a scanner? with the old umax drivers (twain compatible) i
had to install photoshop after i installed the scanner other wise id =
get
loads of errors using phototshop.

when does the error happen? on start up? is it random? if its at =
startup
then maybe youll be able to tell when its happening on the spash screen
as it tells you what its doing.

if its random, then maybe a dodgy install.=20

also...... is it always that exact same error code? with all the =
numbers
beign the same too?

a reinstall should sort it out.... unless youve already done that. try
it and see what happens. remember to delete all of the ini and settings
files in the PS directory as when you reinstall it will probably keep
the old ones. copy the filters that do not come with photoshop to
another directory and after reinstallation see if it comes up with the
error. if it doesnt, copy the plugins back one at a time and test the
plugin. if you get the error then it will problably be a plugin =
problem,
if not then youve probably fixed it.

hope that made sence. and hope that helps. if not, then there is one or
two more things you can do to sort it out. depending on when the error
occurs etc...
