One way is to stuff or zip it with StuffIt on the Mac. It
should not be binHexed. On the PC you can get a free StuffIt
to Unstuff (or unZip) the file on your end. That has the
advantage of being compressed, so it will be a smaller file
transfer. Also, if there are more than one file, they can be
sent as a single archive. The % sign reminds me of old DOS
or UNIX file listings. Doesn't it create two files for some
graphics formats? Maybe EPS? I would think that TIFF would
be the best file format for cross-platform exchange of
graphic files, aside from the web .jpg or .gif.
