I have to agree with Kehvan's response. The general attitude is most screens 
display millions of color. There still is a disparity between Macs and PCs, 
which is something that should be taken more note of when picking color.

Having said that, I would suggest not necessarily limiting your palette to 
Web safe but to limit your palette overall so you have less chance of 
conflicting colors running amuck.
