Hi S. Joseph and Cheryl,
    Like most things in this life, some ppl like one,  while others like
another program.
I use PhotoShop and Illustrator because as a left handed person, I've
discovered there were some steps in Corel Draw which insisted on being drawn
in a right handed manner before certain  creative steps could be executed.
    I've talked with one person (a professional website coder with a flair
for art)  who swears by Corel Draw and sees nothing special in Adobe
products.
On the other hand, I had two ppl in my computer graphics art class who swore
off Corel Draw as being very limited in comparison to Adobe, once they
learned  the programs' features in depth.
    Go figure...
    At any rate, just use what you have available if it does the job you
want done.  Most ppl  tend to use about only 20% of a program's capability
anyway.
