OK, this works. CGM! now accepts 'two composite colors', that's two 
pairs of hex triplets, and a width for the 'left side'. An image is 
returned with one composite color applied to the left side and the 
other color to the right side.

Working on this one.

Also thinking about how to 'fade' from one section to the next.
