CorelDRAW, with varying degrees of success depending on version used
(higher version number does NOT equate to "better"), can import DXF files.
What you will get, however, will be a mass of individual unattached line
segments -- for everything, including curves.

I would suggest using AutoCAD Lite (this is an inexpensive windows version
of AutoCAD), and simply do screen captures. Even if you have to purchase it
just for this project, it would be worth avoiding the aggravation and
tedium of reconnecting hundreds, maybe thousands, of line segments and
applying attributes to make them look even halfway decent, only to then,
ultimately, turn all your vector efforts into bitmaps.
