It is a trick of mirrors... Your brain perceives light and shadows with
light always coming from above and the shadows below. If the border of and
object is highlighted on the top and one side your brain perceives this
object as protruding. If the light falls on the bottom and the opposite
side your brain perceives this object as recessed. So all you have to do is
flip the two highlighted with those of the two shadowed sides. That is the
secret of the push.

Try this look a button that appears protruded and then look at it upside
down without clicking it, surprise....
