You need two objects, your string of text (artistic text), and your path
(the circle, in this case--but just a single path describe the path you
want the text to follow).

With the text selected, pull down the text menu and select Fit Text to
Path. You will then see a large bold black arrow, with which you click on
the object. A Roll-up will also appear that allows you to specific things
such as whether to place the text inside the path or outside, on top or
bottom, baseline to path, cap height to path, or in the middle (with
adjustments), etc. You will probably have to experiment with these to get
it the way you want (I've never been able to remember which does which--I
just go through the experimentation every time).
