Well, in the first place, it's 216 colors. It's really not too difficult to
remember, once you understand the logic.

Divide 255 by 5. That yields 51. Hex for 51 is 33.

If you figure the colors with their decimal values, each of the Red, Green,
and Blue values must be an integer multiple of 51, i.e., 0, 51, 102, 153,
204, or 255. The corresponding Hex values are 00, 33, 66, 99, CC, and FF.
