I tried checking the archives first, but didn't find anything there
which directly answered my questions.
My boss came to me today with another "test." One of our divisions is a
magazine with an accompanying site. The layout that they would like on
their site and what we can actually do within budgetary constraints are
two different things <g>. We have come to an agreement for a certain
section instead of recreating the printed page for the web, we will
offer pdfs available for download, in order to maintain the look and
feel of the print version.
My question is can Quark files be easily converted to pdfs? Also will
it still maintain the res of the pix, whether they be high or low (that
was asked of me) and the same format for the text? Forgive my naivete
but is this as simple as just scanning the printed document and saving
it in a pdf format using acrobat?
While I have used the free Reader before to download maps and such I
have never created my own file so this is new terrain.
Thanks in advance for any help which you may be able to provide.
Laurie
