This is just the target attribute of any anchor tag, most
often used in a frames page or to make a link open in a
new window. _top would break away any frames, _blank opens
a new window, etc. or in a frames page you could have it
open in any named frame.

In most cases you can just ignore it. Enjoy Fireworks, i
love it.
