Beginner's Question:

Hey group,

I'm not good at designing original graphics, but I want to better my
skills at collage and photo touch-ups. In PSP or Adobe Photoshop, how can
I achieve a collage of say two or three photos? By "collage" (i don't
even know if i'm using that word in its proper sense), I mean a mixture
or mosaic where you can clearly see shades of all the constituent photos.

Simple and naive, but you guys are the only ones that may indulge. I know
there are thousands of nuances to perfecting a collage, but I just need
to know how to begin. Any advice is appreciated!
