Hi Ben,
Here is one way that you can create a gradiated look
in PhotoShop:
--Create new file of desired size
--Select foreground & background colors desired
(appears left to right when gradiated)
--Click on gradient tool in toolbox
--Draw a horizontal line across page & release
(normally, your default under "Gradient Tool
Options" should state "foreground to background"; stay
on this option)
--Export file as a .gif or other type
--Then can use graphic file as a background in a table
cell or as "body background" for an entire page.
