Thanks for the great information.  I was trying to find a book about Flash
the other day - and wondered when/where I could get one on Flash4.

I downloaded a demo copy and went through all the lessons.  They did give me
a feel for working in the environment and some of the functionality.

I think going through tutuorials will also help with the creative process of
imagining a finished product.. and dissecting it down to .. layers, events,
timelines, motion, sound..   It's kind of like being an orchestra conductor
- or in my case, the bungling sorcerer's apprentice <smile>.
