ADMIN: AOL users

Good morning/evening members,

This post in particular is aimed at our members with AOL accounts.  I'm
sure some of you have noticed that occaisionally messages, particularly
weekly INFO FAQs, appear with all the letters crossed out.

One of our List Guides (Judith Kallos) has spent a considerable amount of
time with AOL researching this problem and AOL has acknowledged that the
fault lies with them.

At present it appears to be related to a specific version or versions of
AOL email clients, but we are trying to identify what combinations.

To assist in resolving this problem, could any member being affected by
this behavior please forward the details of their operating platform and
AOL mail client version (and anything else you think is appropriate) to:

  lg-business(at)hwg.org

This should only affect a small proportion of our list members, so my
apologies to the rest of you for this intrusion into your normal list
conversation.
