I do not have the software and they do not want to get it just to test it.

You may be able to get a demo version from the Adobe website (www.adobe.com).
You can add script or code to any HTML code. Or if there happens to still be
programs you can't, just copy and paste into one that can. HTML editors like
BBEdit (for Mac, I forget the equivalent for PC) are relatively easy to use
and editable. But your question had the word idiot in it. It doesn't take an
idiot to mess up code. I am very HTML savvy and I mess it up all the time.

I don't know if you want to learn basic HTML, which is what this would be but
there are many good train-yourself books on it.

ImageReady, I think where the HTML code is constructed, sometimes puts in
unnecessary code but it still works. You can run the code through code validat
or sites (like: W3C HTML Validation Service at the URL:
http://validator.w3.org/ or weblint - don't have the URL handy) and it will
tell you where you messed up.

This feature of a photo album is a new automated task in Photoshop 5.5. I am
not sure on second thought if it is ImageReady that constructs it or PS 5.5
but they work in conjunction. It should end up as simple HTML coded page.

Hope this helps.
