Yes i had the same problem one day.


what i did exactly is as follows.

1. i opened another jpg image through internet explorer.
2. i tried to save it by right clicking.
3. sure enough i got to save it as a jpg file.
4. next from then onwards IE was behaving perfectly.

if this of any use try it.
