Transparent

Hi...

Sorry to ask this but I am going crazy. Sometimes transparency 
works..sometimes it doesn't for me..anyway.

Can someone volunteer to tell me exactly how to make an image transparent 
or can someone volunteer to make it transparent for me??

I have in my view made it transparent, yet when I upload it..it is not 
transparent..

I have also used Gifworks to make it transparent and the details of the 
gif, say it IS transparent..

Please write me off list if this is not the done thing here..
