Yes it can! And it's very easy to do. Just draw a circle or a path of any=
=20
shape then type your text normally. Shift-click on both so they are both=20
selected and go to Text>Attach To Path. You can then go to the Object=20
panel and enter values in the Text Offset box to change the position of the=
=20
text on the path. There are also orientation settings in the Text menu=20
that will alter the appearance of the text on a path.
